How to become a Mentee?

To be considered for the mentoring scheme programme you must:

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in PR/Corporate Communications/Public Affairs and be committed to continuing your career in the industry.
  • Complete the application form, detailing your current situation and what you’re hoping to gain from the programme.
  • Inform us of anything else you would like us to take into account when we are matching you with a mentor.
  • Commit to meeting your mentor virtually or in person for a minimum of one hour once a month between March – August 2026.
  • Commit to attending the onboarding webinar before the scheme commences, as well as 3 additional group sessions with Emma.

What happens then?

Mentee applications are reviewed and matched with industry-leading mentors. When making a match, we look for mentors in the same location (where possible) and with experience that can best support the situation as outlined by the mentee applicant.

We then introduce the mentee and mentor and provide guidance on how to structure the mentoring relationship.

The Prospect Mentoring Scheme is a six-month programme, during which time mentors and mentees are required to meet virtually or in-person for one hour each month. We check-in with both mentors and mentees throughout the programme to ensure that the process is going smoothly.

When does the next Mentoring Programme Start?

Applications open from 1st December 2025 to 15th January 2026.

The mentoring programme will commence in March 2026 until August 2026.
