This is a unique opportunity for an experienced communications professional to combine strategic member engagement with the delivery of high-profile campaigns that have a genuine social impact. Sitting within a collaborative communications function, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring members remain informed and engaged, while also leading campaigns designed to influence behaviour and raise awareness of important issues.
The role offers an even split between member communications and campaign activity, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is equally comfortable developing engaging content as they are managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver communications that are timely, relevant and aligned with wider business priorities. From newsletters and website content to speeches, articles and social media activity, you’ll help shape the way key messages are communicated to member audiences.
Alongside this, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of a well-established public-facing campaign. Working with internal teams and external partners, you’ll develop campaign plans, commission and manage agency support, monitor performance and identify opportunities to maximise impact. You’ll bring creativity and strategic thinking to the role, using insight and evaluation to continually refine activity and demonstrate success.
We’re looking for someone with a proven background in communications and campaigns, with strong writing skills and the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels. Experience of stakeholder engagement is essential, as is the confidence to work with senior leaders and external partners. You’ll be highly organised, proactive and capable of balancing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
This role would suit someone with experience gained within a membership organisation, financial services, a regulated environment or an agency setting, although we’re open to candidates from a range of sectors who can demonstrate a track record of delivering effective campaigns and communications.
