We are recruiting a corporate communications press officer, to be employed by a creatively-led integrated agency but to be seconded in-house for a very famous online retail brand. The agency works on a brand and corporate remit for it’s client and delivers issues and crisis work, press office and creative projects for this one in particular. The role would see you drive the day to day corporate news agenda to change the perception of the brand, as well as take care of corporate issues management, protecting the brand reputation with the media.
As a core member of the communications team, your day to day role will see you:
-Creating and managing engaging corporate news stories
-Ensuring that all corporate work is aligned and integrated with consumer marketing
-Maintaining relationships with key media, influencers and bloggers
-Providing guidance to the client on issues management
-Managing multiple stakeholders
-Developing a wider network across EMEA and international comms teams
This role would suit a senior account executive or junior account manager who has experience of corporate PR ideally in a retail environment. You will have a natural flair for news, excellent editorial judgement, an in-depth understanding of how the media operates. You will have experienced a busy press office, corporate communications, social media experience and an ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
