Internal Communications Manager | In-House | Contract

Job ref: 76746

London / £50,000 - £60,000

We’re delighted to be helping this not-for-profit organisation, established to develop globally accepted standards for financial reporting, to find an Internal Communications Manager.

It’s a meaty role and as such, we need someone comfortable with dealing with change and building relationships with internal audiences; preferably in the finance or accounting space. The organisation has recently made some exciting announcements with the creation of a new board for sustainability disclosure standards and consequently have seen an expansion in headcount. It means they will operate from several locations in multiple time zones and so the time is right to create a new role for an Internal Communications Manager to respond to this growth.

There is a lot to do here, but it’s an opportunity to build on current processes and channels to create an internal comms system that serves the larger organisation. You will have responsibility for developing the internal communication and engagement strategy, as well as creating and managing content across the internal channels, ensuring all staff are actively engaged in the organisation’s work. Crucially, you will be working with the stakeholders who are leading on the change programme to help form a unified organisation. This role is for 12 months initially and the person we need must have an ability to connect well with people from diverse backgrounds, is proactive and collegiate, but is used to tackling a range of challenges within an organisation. It’s a really fantastic role for someone who likes to create things and enjoys working in a stimulating environment.
