There is a lot of work to be done. This team manages all the design and delivery of content for the organisation ensuring that all output across channels is in line with their vision and values. In addition to content for external audiences, they also have responsibility for internal and membership audiences too so this candidate will have responsibility for the social media strategy and output for a number of stakeholders.
In the spirit of team work, you will at times provide support for your colleagues in the press office as well as helping with the social media strategy for any campaigns. It’s a meaty role with loads to do but you will be given a lot of support and training; there is no expectation that this person will be able to do everything for everyone. Approach is really key. The attitude needed is to have a go, take things on and see where it takes you. There is room to grow in this role but social and digital experience is a must and an interest in the world of finance helpful. Being a membership organisation, it’s helpful for this person to be interested in current affairs and the financial news and issues of the day.
