Our client is an internationally renowned hospitality brand famed for its unparalleled service quality and customer experience.
This is a newly created solo contributor role with an Asia Pacific remit to be based in Hong Kong. F&B is a large part of its business in the region and in this part of the world where there is high propensity for customers to dine in hotels, your role is to work closely with the F&B teams in the region to further the F&B narrative.
To succeed in the role, you will have 9 to 12 of experience with some in the F&B industry. You know how to adopt a mix of disciplines in Marketing and Communications to get a compelling story across to customers. You have a keen eye for what is visually appealing, is digitally savvy, and has working level understanding of various digital/social platforms. Understanding of China digital platforms likes Dianping and Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) will be an advantage.
You have a global mindset, a track record of working in culturally diverse teams and navigating within a global organisation. You can build strong relationships across different levels and able to give counsel to your F&B stakeholders.
While prior experience in hospitality is not a must, it will be an advantage. More importantly, you need to be a self-starter, and independent, resourceful and hands-on. You are a natural storyteller and is a curious-minded individual who is always looking for interesting/different ways to tell a story.
You must be proficient in English and Mandarin (both speak and write) as China is a key market for the business.
