Young, dynamic sports company with the HQ in Hong Kong, is looking to make its first communications hire in Hong Kong to work across key markets in China, Korea, Japan, Philippines and Taiwan.
This is a new role and requires an entrepreneurial, dynamic individual who can create a strategic marcoms plan, build brand awareness, create creative integrated campaigns and measure the effectiveness of the campaigns. You will manage a coordinator, work closely with the Digital marketing expert and be able to use external branding and PR agencies when required. Due to China being one of the most important markets, knowledge of the China market and fluency in Mandarin is essential. You will also have a strong network of media contacts within the sports, lifestyle and entertainment press. Key responsibilities will include devising the strategic plan, overseeing the localisation of the initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders, managing the creative agency, partners and sponsors as well as provide brand guardianship and ensure consistency across all channels. You will be an exceptional writer and be able to produce a range of content in English and Chinese. You will have gained 5 years lifestyle marcoms experience in Asia with strong China knowledge and be ready to take this step up.
