As a critical member of the Singapore corporate affairs team in this global company, you will work closely with the Corporate Affairs director to monitor the domestic socio-economic & political landscape, assess policy development at the regional and global level that may influence or effect change locally in order to drive timely impact assessment, mitigation, and operational changes required.
Working with the wider team you will also be responsible for stakeholder mapping, driving stakeholder engagement and building of sustainable partnerships to retain a positive corporate reputation, and commercial freedom to operate. You will also get involved in CSR activity, external communications and the firm’s sustainability initiative.
To be successful in this role you will need contacts and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including local government, Singaporean associations and ministries. Successful candidates come with at least 8 years or more of relevant public affairs experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry such as food, alcohol, healthcare or tobacco with expertise in policy monitoring, impact assessment and stakeholder mapping. You must also possess an impeccable command of written and spoken English, along with keen interest in public and trade policy as well as government and stakeholder relations.
