Job specification
This global strategic advisory firm has a senior role for an accomplished financial communications expert who is sector agnostic and is able to advise companies (be it financial services, technology, consumer, energy etc.) on their ongoing communications and engagement with the investment community.
Based in Hong Kong but working with a global team of advisors, you will be overseeing all day-to-day activity across clients and build trusted relationships with key senior stakeholders as well as global media. You will also play a role in identifying and securing new business alongside the Managing Director(s).
You should have 10-15 years of related experience, with confidence in advising c-suite stakeholders and knows how to work collaboratively with an international team. You are required to have native-level Cantonese while proficiency in English and Mandarin will be an advantage. Prior experience working in consulting/advisory financial communications firms is preferred, but not mandatory. Apart from communications, you’d be expected to understand capital markets activities (e.g. M&A, restructuring, IPOs), financial media, analysts, financial cycles and investor relations.
