Fastest growing health tech start up is looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager. 

Having only launched in 2013 and recently closed a  £50m investment, this exciting organisation has been included in WIRED’s 2016 Top 100 Hottest Start-ups in Europe and CB Insights 2017 Global ‘AI 100’ list. Fortune Magazine included babylon in their 2017 list of ‘50 Companies Leading the AI Revolution’ and they have received many other accolades over the past 3 years.  

What are they looking for?

A strong, innovative, strategic Social Media lead to drive the evolution and expansion of their social media and community management efforts on a global scale. This person will be a key member of the Global Marketing Team. 

Seeking a brilliant social media leader to shape the social strategy and marketing messaging. Guide and welcome their global community from their first interaction onward. You’ll be responsible for strategising how they tell thier story in the social sphere and will help ensure their community is up to date on the latest product features and functionality, while highlighting those special company moments. This person will also be responsible for identifying and activating leaders, influencers, and passionate communities with shared interests and determine how and when they join the conversations.

This role is a nuanced and powerful opportunity to help drive and amplify the voice of this exceptional organisation and more importantly, the voices of users.

What they need from you?

•Own the development, execution, and active management of a world-class social media strategy that engages, drives conversation and strengthens relationships with target audiences and communities worldwide

•Attract and retain users by educating, elevating and engaging 

•Community management including listening, support, dealing with queries, mentions, and questions

•Establish guidelines and style guides to ensure all assets meet brand and marketing objectives while delighting our diverse community 

•Partner with key stakeholders to define global architecture and assess the health of current social media channels

•Ideate, curate and create content programs with thumb-stopping power 

•Scenario plan for planned, live and reactive moments; create assets to post in real time. 

•Coach and mentor countries on social communication best practices

•Execute on marketing strategies as it relates to the social environment

•Lead guidelines and policy development for global toolkit distribution

•Partner with internal teams to ensure brand and content consistency, developing tools, templates and processes to facilitate improvement and adherence to guidelines

•Leverage data to analyse, identify and package ongoing social media best practices and campaign results for company distribution, providing recommendations for future efforts

•Lead internal and external training and onboarding for new stakeholders

•Stay abreast of evolving trends, best practices, and tools for social media

•Help establish standards for measurement and analytics

•Manage and advise on vendors, tools and platforms as necessary, adding a level of rigor and problem solving to vendor and technology investments

•Monitor social trends and make real-time editorial recommendations to attract and retain users. 

•Analyse, interpret and report on social data and insights, including competitive analysis and assessments.

•Work with the creative studio to create engaging assets (photos,GIFs, videos, etc.).

•Manage social coverage of live events. 

Who fits the role?

•You rarely miss a #TBT or #FollowFriday and have joined in many late night GIF parties.  

•Extensive experience in social media, delivering smart and effective social strategies – preferably in a global organization; agency or startup background a strong plus

•Both a strategic thinker and a tactical executor, with a roll-up-your-sleeves bias for action and an ability to drive on-brand executions

•A data geek, who leverages meaningful metrics to inform content plans and programs. 

•Fluent in emoji and hashtags.
