An opportunity has become available in their Shanghai office to work as part of an integrated marketing communications team based in the clients Asia Pacific Headquarters. A talented, driven and high performing individual is required to lead the communication efforts across Asia Pacific for a leading automotive company.
The individual will provide strategic advice and counsel and partner with other agencies to develop comprehensive, strategic and integrated communications programmes that deliver results. The individual will also be required to be involved in issues and crisis management with the support of senior management
In addition to the Manager’s day to day responsibilities of managing the client relationship, they must act as a mentor and coach to the account team. The manager will be responsible for driving insights and data based creativity
This is a great opportunity for someone to make the first step into an in-house environment. The individual is required to have a minimum of six years’ experience in the PR and Digital Communications industry with experience of managing campaigns across automotive, technology and consumer segments.
It is important for this person to be a self-starter, who can work autonomously to drive projects forward. The individual also needs to have strong English writing and speaking skills. Fluency in Chinese is an added advantage but not a requirement.
Understanding of earned and social/digital mediums is a must.
