PR and Stakeholder Communications Manager / 40-44k plus bens / Sustainability / 68527L
This organisation seeks to reduce the damaging effects of industry on the environment.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced PR professional with sustainability expertise to lead the PR and media programme for the organisation. The goal is to promote the organisation and key environmental messages throughout the broader public and media as well as to potential customers and government. Duties will include:
- PR campaign strategy and implementation - campaigns will target both consumer and business markets
- increase public awareness of sustainability and environmental issues
- develop relationships with customers and other stakeholders
- Build relationships with partner organisations
- Management of PR agencies
- Liaise with the wider PR and communications team to ensure cohesion and alignment with key objectives
You will be from an agency or in-house background, but must have strong experience with business sustainability and CSR. You will have a track record in designing and implementing successful PR campaigns, ideally for both consumer and B2B markets. You will have achieved a solid understanding of key issues surrounding climate change, and will have contacts with relevant media and experience in engaging with key stakeholders. You must have excellent attention to detail and planning skills, and the ability to manage a budget and work well with a team. Prior experience of managing an agency would be useful, and you will have a methodical and organised approach to your work.
